A word prompt to get your creativity flowing this weekend. How you use the prompt is up to you. Write a piece of flash fiction, a poem, a chapter for your novel…anything you like. Or take the challenge below – there are no prizes – it’s not a competition but rather a fun writing exercise. If you want to share what you come up with, please leave a link to it in Sammi’s Comment Section

The Will
I, Angus Hamish MacBeth MacPherson, being of sound mind, at least compared to most of you grasping half-wits gathered here hoping for something you never gave me in life, hereby apportion my wordly goods as follows.
To my friend Chester, whom I trust above all others, I bequeath, for reasons which will soon become obvious, the large wet fish which can be found in the cool box beside this desk.
To my sister-in-law I bequeath a welt in the mouth with a large wet fish…

Good one, CE. Sisters-in-law are so deserving, as some say. 🙂
I’d like to have been a fish on the wall during that reading!
Funny one!
Dear CE,
And Angus will be “fondly” remembered for generations to come. Made me laugh.
Shalom,
Rochelle
Oh, dear. You can tell that he has taken great pleasure in dashing their hopes.
He bore his ill will to the grave, didn’t he? 😂
🙂
