He does not know what this is.
It might be Superman’s toothbrush.
Or Barrack Obama’s baseball bat.
Or can it be a guitar, once played by Eric Clapton, weeping through the long fade-out of Layla?
He knows it is not a set of bagpipes, because they have a purpose.
He guesses it is not a pair of cross-country skis, because they take you somewhere.
Clearly it is not a St Bernard dog, because it provides succour to folk in need.
So is it The Dark Side of the Moon?
Or WordPress Support?
They seem, to AnElephant, to be equally inaccessible.

I like how we both took the fact that we don’t know what the hell it is and made something from the unknowing. I should have written a Friday Fictioneers story when Twitter suspended me for no reason – it might have made me feel a bit better for a while.
