Except when a friend asks him to do it
This may be quite obscure
But he is pretty sure
That both his smart readers will quickly see through it

Full Moon
He parks by the river and enters the café by the back door.
Hi Des, he says to the waitress.
My name is Danielle, she replies, can I get you something?
Orange juice, please.
Certainly, sir.
Have you never been called Des before?
Only by my friends, she snaps.
When I first called you that I told you I wished I was 25 years younger. Now I am.
What?
I found a time machine, travelled back 25 years and sent myself here for you!
She calls to her colleague.
Becks, this weirdo is really creeping me out! Is it a full moon again?
i loved it when I first read it…. why didn’t I say so?

He should have gotten her to write a note to herself to certify his identity. 🙂 Time travel can really help a love life along.
