woman

woman is small
man is big
woman is quiet
(brings peace)
man is loud
woman is rain
(brings life)
man is hailstone

I am thunder
she is cloud
I am water
she is air
I am tree
she is flower
I am elephant
she is butterfly
I have strength
she has power

man scatters his foe
woman draws people to her
man thinks he is something
woman has nothing to prove

there is no song she cannot sing

About ceayr

A Scot who has discovered peace in a small town he calls Medville on the Côte Vermeille, C.E. Ayr has spent a large part of his life in the West of Scotland and a large part elsewhere. His first job was selling programmes at his local football club and he has since tried 73 other career paths, the longest being in IT, with varying degrees of success. He is somewhat nomadic, fairly irresponsible and, according to his darling daughter, a bit random. So, nobody’s perfect.

Beautiful words and images, full of warmth and love.
