AnElephantCant always be good-humoured
There are times when his door you must not darken
But he is now striving
To improve his driving
He makes some small adjustments to help with his parking
Once again it is Friday Fictioneer time.
Master Mechanic Rochelle engineers a collective of car connoisseurs to fine tune some terrific tales.
And AnElephant tries not to dent his image.
The idea is to write a very short story, circa 100 words, based on this picture prompt (below).
That’s it.
Car Alarm
I am pretty easy-going, but this little ned irritates me.
He always sits on my car, scraping the paintwork.
I ask him to move.
He hurls threatening abuse.
He doesn’t know that I have a certain skill.
When the electric current goes through him, the car alarm alerts me.
After he recovers from the shock, his reaction is predictably violent.
I intervene, laughing, ask him what he plans to do with the brick.
He is quite aggressive, moves to attack me.
I taser him.
Then, for fun, I taser him again.
Now he knows that I have a certain skill.

Best line: I taser him. Then, for fun, I taser him again.
Nicely done
Dear An Elephant Can’t, Marvelous story – I really enjoyed this – Little ned is a terror juvenile delinquent and probably was kicked out of school, didn’t want to tell his parents so went to pick on the poor Edsel. Good story! Nan 🙂
Funny story. He knows how to deal with troublemakers. Zap! Gone.
Wow! A car with a temper and vengeance. Powerful.
Lily
I just read three romance stories in a row from this prompt. They were all wonderful but I wanted to end the evening with something different so I clicked here and I got it!
“Don’t taze me, bro!” Better than quaaludes. Nice story.
Wow, I guess so. I’d stay away from that car if I were him. The repetition in that last line really ties it all together. I love it.
Yikes! Little Ned has more than one lesson to learn.
ils ont tout dit.
Chapeau!
This is funny in a special weird way. I love it.
Dear AEC,
I love this story. Who hasn’t wanted to taser some pesky idiot with a ‘brick’ at some time in their lives. Electrifying tale.
Aloha,
Doug
I agree with Sean. Weird, odd, very good. I couldn’t have put it better.
Claire
This prompt is certainly bringing something different out in people. In a savage kind of way… 🙂 Nice one.
Dear Elephant,
Guys and their cars. I can see where someone scratching the paint on his car would make him go ballistic. You do have a certain skill, Sir and that would be writing. 😉
Shalom,
Rochelle
Very weird, very odd, very good 🙂
