Sound Bite Fiction

This on-going collection of stories has been and are being written in my current home on the Côte d’Azur.
Many of the tales are based in and around the town I call Medville, others are situated in Scotland, and the remainder take place in less exceptional parts of this and other worlds.

Mysterious and enigmatic, served with a splash of humour, nothing here is ever quite what it seems.

Expect the unexpected.
There is always a twist in the tail.
Nearly.

Sound Bite – stirs up different feelings and images -something I need to think more about – mixing sound into written words – like a clash of titans somehow. Very Interesting!

  6. This is an emerging style aimed at the fast-moving time-restricted 21st Century reader. < that's a key thing.
I always think to myself that short stories/ flash fiction will be a force in the book world due to that very reason. Glad to have found someone who thinks the same.

  7. I love short works. Not only reading them but writing them. I have trouble with the long haul of a novel. I will enjoy reading more.

73 career paths! I would love to know what they are. Short attention span, ey? I have never settled down much either. I love learning.

Thank you for sharing your talent, ce.

Much success with this. I’ve been writing stories a page or so long for well a long time.
Some I’ve turned into sires… but others are not. Now I’ve got a name for ’em aye?

Sound Bite Fiction is catchy. Better than just Flash Fiction.
Now can you come up with another name for ‘blogging?’ 🙂

Hi Jules, and thank you for kind words.
I have been reading your stories for, well, a long time!
Happy for you to use the term Sound Bite Fiction.
Maybe when you do, you can nudge folk in my direction?
Hmm, blogging, leave that one with me, okay!

Hmm. Blogging was short for Biography-log. But not all of the writing is biographical or a log. As some sites are ads for business, poetry, art, Sound Bite Fiction…etc.
Blogging just sounds a tad childish for the serious nature of well having fun writing both fiction and non-fiction.

Once I remember how to add sites to the side bar I might make some new lists; poets, prompts, Sound Bite Fiction…(credited to yours truly of course! 🙂
